Ms. Prause graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Arts degree from Texas A&M University, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Business and French. She joined McKee & Schalka in 2007 after relocating from Houston to Seattle.
Ms. Prause has appraised a variety of property types including various retail properties such as auto dealerships, banks, grocery stores, mall anchors, shopping centers, restaurants, and other general retail uses. She has also appraised professional offices, condominiums, single-family residences, light and heavy industrials, and vacant land of proposed commercial and residential uses. Furthermore, she has assisted with appraisal & consulting projects in the Seattle Metropolitan area relating to the Mercer Corridor Expansion, the Alaskan Way Viaduct, and the Multiway Boulevard and Bothell Crossroads Projects.
Appraisal coursework includes Real Estate Appraisal Principles and Procedures and USPAP. Ms. Prause is a State-Registered Real Estate Appraiser Trainee (Washington State Certificate No. 1001164). Previous work experience includes research assistance at Texas A&M and project coordinating at a human resources consulting firm.
