William Arringdale "Dale" Marshall

Mr. Marshall graduated from Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire, in 1968. He served four years of active duty as an officer in the U.S. Coast Guard. He received a Masters of Business Administration degree from Stanford University in 1974. His emphasis at Stanford was in Finance and Real Estate.

Mr. Marshall was employed in business management from 1974 until 1983 in Bellevue, Washington, 1979 to 1983 as Vice President - Finance & Operations at Pacific Energy Products, Inc., a wholesale distributor.

He was employed with the firm of Shorett & Riely from September 1983 to June 1991.

In June 1991, Mr. Marshall entered the firm of McKee & Schalka. He is a Senior Appraiser, and Director of Research.

Mr. Marshall is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser (Washington State Certificate No. 1100762). Mr. Marshall has successfully completed the following courses offered by the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers (now Appraisal Institute): Real Estate Appraisal Principles (May 1984); Basic Valuation Procedures (May 1984); Capitalization Theory & Techniques, Parts A & B (May 1985); Case Studies in Real Estate Valuation (May 1986); Report Writing and Valuation Analysis (May 1986); and Standards of Professional Practice (May 1987). He attended the seminar "Real Estate Appraisal Reform" concerning FIRREA regulations presented by the Office of Thrift Supervision (September 1990).

A partial list of the property types for which narrative appraisals have been prepared includes multi-family residential complexes (both rental and condominium), retail and commercial buildings, industrial buildings, office buildings, hotels, medical clinics, mini-storage facilities, golf courses and other recreation facilities, ocean piers, marinas, and various types of vacant land including residential subdivisions and industrial parks.

He has particular expertise in critical research, due diligence, and litigation support. He has coauthored significant studies and research for the analysis of easement corridors, including the underground easement research supporting the tunnel appraisals (Sound Transit—Beacon Hill and Capitol Hill Acquisitions), and the aerial easement and impact of view analysis (Seattle Monorail and Sound Transit). Mr. Marshall provides client and litigation support of agencies, owners, and attorneys, including trial and trial preparation services, and mediation support.
