Grace Kim

Ms. Kim graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a degree in Social Welfare and a minor in Women’s Studies. Previous work experience includes UC Berkeley’s Moffitt Library as a student supervisor and Terry Hines & Associates as a marketing intern for MGM Studios and Sony Pictures.

Ms. Kim is a Managing Appraiser, and has appraised a wide variety of property types, including retail, industrial, office, high-rise condominiums and multi-family, special purpose properties, and vacant land. Valuation has encompassed fee simple, leased fee and leasehold estates.

She also has significant experience with both full and partial acquisition appraisals and has prepared work for WSDOT in conjunction with the Alaskan Way Viaduct and Seawall Replacement Project. Other eminent domain experience includes work for Sound Transit (Airport Link Project and Central Link Project) and the Kent School District, with a range of scenarios including full takings, partial takings, and temporary construction easements.

Appraisal coursework includes Appraisal Fundamentals, Sale Comparison/Income Approach, USPAP, and General Applications from the Appraisal Institute. Ms. Kim is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser (Washington State Certificate No. 1101854).
