Ms. Holt graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, with Distinction in major coursework. During college, she volunteered in community mental health services, focusing on crisis intervention. Other volunteer work included editor duties for a monthly adoptee newsletter, peer tutoring, and work with local food banks.
Ms. Holt has performed significant appraisals on a variety of property types since joining McKee & Schalka. Her practice includes full and partial acquisitions; proposed and existing commercial properties; and land with and without wetlands concerns. Geographical concentration of her work has been focused in King, Pierce, Snohomish, Jefferson, and Whatcom Counties. Ms. Holt has recently been involved in major projects such as the Capitol Hill tunnel appraisals, the City of Shoreline Aurora widening project, and the City of Federal Way’s Phase IV of the widening of Pacific Highway South. Her coursework includes Appraisal Institute classes such as Market Analysis, Statistics, Report Writing, and Sale Comparison Techniques.
Ms. Holt is a State Registered Real Estate Appraiser Trainee (Washington State Certificate No. 1000651). After college and prior to joining McKee & Schalka, she worked in Financial Planning for an established Eastside firm, where she analyzed business and personal portfolios. She has lived in the Pacific Northwest for most of her life.
