Ms Hansen graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science. She previously attended Stanford University. She was a Varsity Softball athlete all four years, and was twice selected to the Women's NCAA Pac-10 All Academic Team. She also won the Provost Medal for Academic Excellence at the UW and received the 101 Club Scholar Athlete Award as a senior.

Since joining McKee & Schalka, Ms. Hansen has performed appraisals on a variety of properties including vacant commercial and residential land, retail, industrial, and office properties throughout Western Washington. Valuation has encompassed fee simple and leased fee estates. Ms. Hansen also has experience with full and partial acquisition appraisals for public agency acquisition, including the Alaskan Way Viaduct and Seawall Replacement Project and the Mercer Corridor acquisitions for the City of Seattle.

Ms. Hansen is a State Registered Real Estate Appraiser Trainee (Washington State Certificate No. 1001087). Appraisal coursework includes Real Estate Appraisal and USPAP. Previously she worked as a tutor, instructor, and coach.
